So I'm home today because the thought of looking at my boss and not punching his lights out is just too appealing. Daughter-type comes in from work and says, "Since you're home, you can take me to the mall." I feel so honored. Can I really?. Isn't being a mother just wonderful?

After working an 8 hour, midnight shift, she came home and shoveled out the driveway for me so I could get to work today. What a sweetie. I won't ever complain about her again. But on the flip side, why did she want me out of the house so badly today that she made sure the snow was no obstacle?

Hmmmm...
